Beavercreek Lions Club

    This will be the first in a series of articles relating to the Beavercreek Lions Club. The organization is a member of the Lions Club International.
    As one of 36+ members from your local communities, including Beavercreek, Colton, Oregon City, Redland, Highland, Carus and Happy Valley you get to help with:
    Beavercreek Auction is their major fundraiser, providing almost $10,000.00 annually to fund the community projects they undertake;
    Community College Scholarships they give to a graduate from each of the local high schools to attend Clackamas Community College;
    Scout Troop 139 is sponsored by your local Lions Club, and they share a number of fun and service activities with them;
    Holiday Food Boxes to 100+ families, with several wrapped Christmas toys for each of the kids (250-300 gifts);
    Next month we will  talk about other projects that the Lions Club is involved in. If you would like more information write them at P.O. Box 76, Beavercreek, Or 97004 or call Keith Price at 761-3461.
