Beavercreek Bulletin
Online?

Now that the Beaver Creek Cooperative Telehone Company has become an ISP (Internet Service Provider) the BCCP is working to put the "Beavercreek Bulletin" online. This will allow residents to read the "Bulletin" without having to stop at one of the pick up points.

As a reminder, the pick-up points are:

The Hitch 'N Post Restaurant
Petterson's Grocery and Feed in Clarkes
The Beaver Creek Cooperative Telephone Co. on
    Henrici Rd.
The Beavercreek Fire Station
The "Corner Park" drive-thru

The online version will be called, "Beavercreek Bulletin Online." Original huh? The editor is working on getting the website ready and hopefully it will debut shortly. When the site is ready it will also include links to all past "Bulletins" as room permits. Of course, the printed version will still be available for those who do not have Internet access.

The BCCP would like to encourage residents of Beavercreek to contact the Beaver Creek Cooperative Telephone Company and support them in their new endeavor as an Internet provider. It should be a great asset to the community. Call 632-3113 for more information and to sign up.

Oregon City Council Meeting Attended

On Wednesday, February 3rd, BCCP members attended a City of Oregon City Council meeting. The agenda included the consideration of a written request from the City of Oregon City to Metro requesting the removal of Areas 25 and 26 (the Beavercreek area) from Metro's Urban Growth Boundary Reserve. The Council requested additional research and will reconsider the request at a later date.

Back issues available upon request
while supplies last.
